I am a Registered Master’s Nurse with over a decade of experience specializing in health and wellness. My graduate education was dedicated to the study of nutrition and both the food and health-care industries. This research combined with my clinical practice and raising two children are the motivation and insight behind my efforts to approach health from a more holistic perspective.
I believe that traditional medicine does not adequately recognize the significant role that poor nutrition and a sedentary lifestyle have upon illness and disease despite being the very sustenance of our endurance, strength and overall quality of life.

In addition to a food industry guided by profit as opposed to health and a health system that undermines the contribution of proper nourishment and fitness, there is an overload of conflicting “facts” regarding diet, weight-loss and healthy lifestyle practices. This abundance of information has resulted in extreme confusion for consumers and a general lack of awareness in terms of the food they eat and the implications of eating it.
I believe that eliminating this uncertainty and developing confidence in making nutrition choices and health practices are achievable for all persons through holistic instruction and education. My recipes, meal plans, nutrition information, fitness practices and lifestyle approaches provide all the guidance and tools necessary to optimize these areas for individuals and families.
